ECHOES OF ETERNITY Announces New Guitarist

February 5, 2007

With their Nuclear Blast debut, "The Forgotten Goddess", slated for North American release on February 20, L.A.'s ECHOES OF ETERNITY are starting out the New Year by proudly announcing the addition of new, second guitarist Sam Young into the band's ranks.

States founding E.O.E. member / songwriter / guitarist Brandon S. Patton: "After some great rehearsals these past few days, we are stoked about our new guitarist, Sam Young. He's 28 years old, an ultra-cool guy who is an experienced touring musician, and fits in very well with the band. The difference he makes in our live sound is night and day, and I look forward to introducing him to you all."

The complete band line-up is now:

Francine Boucher – Vocals
Brandon S. Patton – Guitars
Sam Young – Guitars
Duane Cowan – Bass
Kirk Carrison – Drums

Regarding the direction of the band, Patton's musical goal still remains "from the onset, to recreate the vibe of DEATH's 'Symbolic' with beautiful female vocals."

"The Forgotten Goddess" was recorded in six months in Venice, California at RavensWork Studios and produced, engineered, and mastered by Eric Ryan. Fans of melodic, progressive metal can pre-order the album through the band's MySpace page.
