DRY KILL LOGIC Sign European Deal With SPV RECORDS

DRY KILL LOGIC have signed a European deal with SPV Records for their new album, "The Dead & Dreaming". The upcoming CD will be issued via a partnership between SPV and a new joint venture formed by DKL's own label Psychodrama and longtime DKL producers Scrap 60.

"Having finished the record before having a record deal, we felt we wanted to have more control — not only over the musical content of the release, but we also wanted a bigger say in exercising financial, business and creative control over our career," stated DRY KILL LOGIC singer Cliff Rigano. "With the industry changing every day, and bands falling by the wayside more and more, we knew that for us to release this record we needed to be a bigger part of it, and doing it this way certainly ensures that. DKL has always been a band that takes things into our own hands, and being part of a deal like this takes that ethic to the next level."

DRY KILL LOGIC are currently in the studio wrapping up final mixes and mastering, and are also working on finalizing a U.S. release date to coincide with the European release.

In addition, there will be a bonus track on the record, and "there are plans for some added-value video footage as well, but that will have to remain a mystery for now..." the band write in an official press release.

In other news, DRY KILL LOGIC are still looking for a bassist. "We have had a TON of great submissions over the last couple of months, and we want to say thanks to everyone that sent us something," the band write. "That being said, we have not yet made our decision and are still entertaining potential applicants. DRY KILL LOGIC have been confirmed for this year's Hellfest at the Rexplex in Elizabeth, NJ. The festival runs July 23-25 and will feature over 130 bands, including FEAR FACTORY, SHADOWS FALL, LIFE OF AGONY and more.

Also on the DRY KILL LOGIC front, a new DKL track, titled "Neither Here Nor Missed", will be featured in the May 23 episode of "Viva La Bam". In addition, three new DKL tracks will be included on the all-new soundtrack for "True Crime: Streets Of LA" (PC version),one of the most popular street-style games today. Other artists featured on the soundtrack include ALICE IN CHAINS, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, SNOOP DOGG and WARREN G.
