Drummer SHAWN DROVER Pens More MEGADETH Riffs

November 10, 2005

MEGADETH/EIDOLON drummer Shawn Drover has posted the following message in the "Forums" section of MEGADETH's official web site:

"Next Thursday, I will be flying up to Toronto for several reasons — one of them being our appearance at the Toronto Music Expo. Glen [Drover, MEGADETH/EIDOLON guitarist] and myself will be making an appearance at the 'Long and Mcquade' booth from 12-1PM on Saturday, November 19th. Come over and say hi if you are in the neighborhood

"As well, I have been working on and have now compiled a wack of new riffs to submit to Dave [Mustaine], so to utilize my time wisely, I will record them in proper fashion at Glen's studio, then send it via Whale Mail. Like I stated previously, some, all or none of what I submit could make the next [MEGADETH] record — I will indeed receive an 'A' for effort though.

"I went to see my friends in NEVERMORE/INTO ETERNITY the other night in Atlanta, along with my son, Ryan, who is a big fan of both bands. Both bands played great (as did OPETH) and it was cool to see Warrel [Dane] and co. again. I hadn't been to see a live show since our tour ended, so it was nice to be back in that environment again.

"Aside from this, I am enjoying this time of complete leisure."
