Drummer BOBBY JARZOMBEK Prepares To Record New SEBASTIAN BACH Album

April 28, 2006

Drummer extraordinaire Bobby Jarzombek (HALFORD, ICED EARTH, SEBASTIAN BACH) has posted the following update on his web site:

"I've been sort of laying low lately and haven't been commenting on the projects that I've been working on but here's what I can talk about. After a couple of delays we're starting on SEBASTIAN BACH's [ex-SKID ROW'Angel Down', sometime in May. I'm really looking forward to recording with Baz, Metal Mike, Steve DiGiorgio and Johnny Chromatic as well as hitting the road again this summer. So far we're confirmed for the Rock In Kavarna festival in Bulgaria on July 15. Also on the live front, Metal Mike and I are revving up PAINMUSEUM again for a short East Coast run in June — stay tuned for exact dates and venues.

"On another note, I'm thrilled to announce that I am now officially endorsing DW (Drum Workshop) / PDP (Pacific Drums and Percussion). I first contacted DW and invited a couple reps to a recent recording session that I had here in L.A. The meeting went great and they in turn offered to give me a tour of their factory in Oxnard, CA. I drove out to Oxnard and spent the day at DW touring their entire drum making process. From the cutting of veneer sheets, to the gluing and heat pressure methods to create the shells, to sanding and buffing, to painting and hand airbrush finishing, to applying the hardware, etc.. It was totally amazing! I also talked drums with DW president, Don Lombardi, the master woodsman, John Good, and various workers throughout the process. In all, I ended up spending 4 1/2 hours there. I am totally stoked to be included in their family of drummers. Also, we're in the process of giving my website a bit of an overhaul. When it's done I'll have my complete DW/PDP setups. I've also put together a 'FAQ' section and expanded 'Photo' and 'Media' sections. It should be up shortly."
