DROWNING POOL: 'Step Up' Video To Receive 'Headbanger's Ball' Premier This Weekend

DROWNING POOL's video for their new single, "Step Up", will receive its small-screen premier Saturday night (March 6) on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball". "Step Up" is slated to be the first clip shown during the show, which is scheduled to begin at 10:00 p.m. EST.

"Step Up" comes off the group's upcoming sophomore album, "Desensitized", due on April 20 through Wind-Up Records. The track will also be will be featured on the upcoming "Punisher: The Album" soundtrack, due on March 23 through Wind-Up.

As previously reported, "Desensitized" was produced by Johnny K (DISTURBED, SOIL, FINGER ELEVEN) and marks the group's first release with frontman Jason "Gong" Jones, who joined the band last summer following the tragic death of Dave Williams in August 2002.

"Step Up", along with additional "Desensitized" cuts "Love and War", "Nothingness" and "Think", can be previewed online in streaming audio at this location.

In other news, DROWNING POOL will be the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" airing Monday, March 22.
