DROWNING POOL: Photos From USO Tour Posted Online

Texas-based metallers DROWNING POOL have posted a number of photos from their recent trip to the Persian Gulf, where they are performed several shows for service members serving in the region. Check them out at this location. The band also "met and greeted" troops, signed autographs and posed for pictures. The Texas-based quartet were accompanied by Dallas radio station KDGE's afternoon disc jockey Jessie Jessup, who was on hand to introduce the performances. Jessup was also interviewing troops and hosting her radio program during the tour. Check out Jessie's blog at this location.

DROWNING POOL recently recruited former SOIL frontman Ryan McCombs to replace their last vocalist, Jason "Gong" Jones (now in A.M. CONSPIRACY),who left the band in early June. The group are expecting to enter the studio in early 2006 to begin recording their third album, tentatively due next summer.
