DREAMS OF DAMNATION: DVD, Mini-CD On The Way

September 24, 2003

DREAMS OF DAMNATION, the Los Angeles thrash metal act featuring former DARK ANGEL axeman Jim Durkin and ABATTOIR rhythm guitarist Steve Gaines, are in the process of compiling their first-ever DVD, tentatively due early next year. In addition to other material, the as-yet-untitled disc will include footage from their August show at the Whisky A-Go Go in Hollywood, California.

In other news, the band have been keeping busy during the past few months doing a series of gigs, including the Seattle Metal Fest, as well as demoing new material for a forthcoming mini-CD, to be released through Black Cherry Records. Negotiations are also underway for a full-length album, the details of which will be announced at a later date.

DREAMS OF DAMNATION recently underwent a drummer change when "Mayhem" Mendez stepped down and was replaced by Dave Chedrick. Meanwhile, Durkin's and Gaines' other band, PAGAN WAR MACHINE, are temporarily on hiatus until next year after DOD's current commitments have been fulfilled.
