DRAKKAR: 'When Lightning Strikes' Audio Teaser Available

December 29, 2011

Italian epic power metallers DRAKKAR will release their new album, "When Lightning Strikes", on January 16, 2012 via My Kingdom Music. The CD — which was recorded and mixed at Elnor Studio by Mattia Stanciou (LABYRINTH, CROWN OF AUTUMN) and mastered at House Of Audio by Jürgen Lusky (ANGRA, PINK CREAM 69) — is once again an epic concept album that melds powerful riffs, majestic melodies and a true metal attitude in the style of RUNNING WILD and BLIND GUARDIAN. The story behind the lyrics is a tale of classic science fiction with hystorical elements that is sure to captivate the more imaginative listeners.
