DRAGONLORD To Release New Album In September

April 30, 2005

DRAGONLORD, the San Francisco Bay Area "black" metal band featuring current and former members of TESTAMENT, have posted the following message on their official web site:

"We just returned from Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden, where we nearly completed our recording for our upcoming release entitled 'Black Wings of Destiny'.

"We thought we'd be able to get it done in five weeks, but due to the intensity of the music and the bloody birth of this gem, we will be returning in June to finalize a couple of tracks and mix the album with Fredrik Nordström.

"We took pictures during the recording, which we will put up on our site soon. Also, as promised, we will post soundbites for you to hear as soon as the album is done. Believe us when we tell you, 'Black Wings of Destiny' will be worth the wait. We are very proud of this effort, and we think you'll be as well.

"We are planning on releasing this record in September 2005 and will tour in support of this release. We also will be playing July 23, 2005, at the Earthshaker Fest in Germany, where we will be showcasing some of the new material and plan on filming this performance for an upcoming DVD."

Songtitles set to appear on "Black Wings of Destiny" include "The Becoming Of", "Until the End", "Mark of Damnation", "The Curse of Woe", "Blood Voyeur" and "The Requiem".

DRAGONLORD's debut album, "Rapture", was released in 2001 through Spitfire Records.
