DRAGONFORCE: New York City Show Sold Out In One Day

According to a posting on the official DRAGONFORCE web site, the band's U.S debut show — scheduled for November 22 at CBGB in New York — was sold out in one day. However, "35 tickets were held back for sale on the night of the show, on the door at CBGB, on a first come, first served basis at $12. So, for anyone that couldn't get a ticket, get down there early on the day of the show!"

As previously reported, the London-based "extreme power metal" band have completed work on their eagerly anticipated third album, entitled "Inhuman Rampage". The follow-up to 2004's "Sonic Firestorm" contains eight brand new songs and will be released on January 9, 2006. The album recording sessions were made at Thin Ice Studios in Virginia Water (Surrey) and guitarist Herman Li's own studio in West London between April and September, while production duties were shared between Li, fellow axeman Sam Totman and keyboard player Vadim Pruzhanov.
