DRAGONFORCE: Australian Tour Dates Announced

U.K. extreme power metallers DRAGONFORCE will return to Australia in May 2007 as part of their Inhuman Rampage World Tour. This is will be DRAGONFORCE's second time in Australia touring in support of their latest album. Tickets go on sale February 16. The dates are as follows:

May 09 - Sydney, AUS - The Forum (all ages)
May 10 - Brisbane, AUS - The Arena (all ages)
May 12 - Adelaide, AUS - Fowlers Live (all ages)
May 13 - Perth, AUS - The Capitol (18+)
May 15 - Melbourne, AUS - Hi Fi (18+)
May 16 - Melbourne, AUS - Hi Fi (all ages)

As previously reported, DRAGONFORCE will be IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson's guests on Saturday, January 20 during Bruce's weekly BBC 6 Music radio show, aptly named "Rock Show". Listen to the program live via the Internet between 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. (midnight) U.K. time (between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. EST) at BBC.co.uk.

DRAGONFORCE will team up with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE (headliners),CHIMAIRA and HE IS LEGEND for the first annual No Fear Music Tour, set to kick off late February. For a list of dates, click here.

DRAGONFORCE's "Inhuman Rampage" CD has sold around 100,000 copies in the United States since its June release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The follow-up to 2004's "Sonic Firestorm" was recorded at Thin Ice Studios in Virginia Water (Surrey) and guitarist Herman Li's own studio in West London between April and September 2005, while production duties were shared between Li, fellow axeman Sam Totman and keyboard player Vadim Pruzhanov.
