DRAGONFORCE Announces Spring U.S. Tour

February 26, 2009

British extreme epic power metallers DRAGONFORCE will be back on U.S. shores this spring to support last year's "Ultra Beatdown". The band will embark on a month-long, headlining tour and hit a batch of markets they did not play on their successful tour last November.

The tour was designed specifically as a way to reward DRAGONFORCE's throng of fans for their continued support of the band with a low priced ticket. In some cases, advance tickets are as low as $15, which takes these trying economic times into account. There's no better way to spend a hard-earned $15 then by taking in a night of swilling beer and watching the band shred their way through an entire set! Two special guests for the tour are to be announced very soon.

The tour dates are as follows:

April 15 - House of Blues - Anaheim, CA
April 17 - Knitting Factory - Boise, IA
April 18 - Knitting Factory - Spokane, WA
April 19 - Wilma Theater - Missoula, MT
April 21 - The Venue at Playmakers - Fargo, ND
April 22 - Sokol Auditorium - Omaha, NE
April 24 - Pop's - Sauget, IL
April 25 - The Rave - Milwaukee, WI
April 26 - Bogarts - Cincinnati, OH
April 27 - Newport Music Hall - Columbus, OH
April 28 - The Orange Peel - Asheville, NC
April 30 - Mr. Smalls - Millvale, PA
May 01 - Town Ballroom - Buffalo, NY
May 02 - The Intersection - Grand Rapids, MI
May 04 - Lupos at the Strand - Providence, RI
May 05 - Toad's Place - New Haven, CT
May 07 - Higher Ground - So. Burlington, VT
May 08 - Northern Lights - Clifton Park, NY
May 09 - Crocodile Rock - Allentown, PA
May 10 - The Norva - Norfolk, VA

Members of the official DRAGONFORCE fan club, Soldiers Of The Wasteland, can get their tickets in advance at a special reduced ticket price now. Members also have the ability to receive either a meet-and-greet with the band OR early entry into the venue from this location.
