DOWNSET Confirmed For PROJEKT REVOLUTION Tour

Los Angeles, California's DOWNSET have been confirmed for the second stage on this year's Projekt Revolution tour, featuring headliners LINKIN PARK alongside KORN, SNOOP DOGG, THE USED and LESS THAN JAKE.

The Projekt Revolution tour will kick off July 23 in Cincinnati and hit 32 North American stops this summer. Last year the tour featured LINKIN PARK, MUDVAYNE and XZIBIT, while the tour's initial 2002 run had ADEMA and DJ Z-TRIP joining CYPRESS HILL.

DOWNSET's long-awaited new album, "Universal", is due on June 1 through the Seattle, Washington-based label Hawino Records. A brand new DOWNSET track, titled "Forever", has been posted online in MP3 format at this location.

The follow-up to 2000's "Check Your People" (Epitaph) was produced by guitarist Brian "Ares" Schwager, mixed by Wes Seidman and mastered by Tom Baker. It features the band lineup of Ares, Rey Orepeza (vocals),Chris Lee (drums) and Rico Villasenor (bass).
