DOWNSET Cancel European Tour

April 10, 2003

DOWNSET, the Los Angeles-based rap-metallers, have been forced to cancel their European tour, according to Kerrang!. Frontman Rey Oropeza is suffering from strep throat and doctors have ordered him to rest for at least four to six weeks.

Oropeza's throat infection occurred after the recording of their new album, "Universal". Guitarist Ares says: "The new record will be a traditional DOWNSET record that I am sure all of our fans will love. We can't wait to get back over to Europe to play for all of our fans with the new songs and line-up."
