DOWNLORD To Use Excerpts From 'Hymn Of The Satanic Empire' On Upcoming CD

DOWNLORD's Dave Ingram (ex-BENEDICTION, BOLT THROWER) has secured permission from The Church Of Satan to use lyrical excerpts from "Hymn of the Satanic Empire" in the new DOWNLORD song "Wake Up & Smell the Species". The hymn was written by Anton Lavey in 1988 and was included on the "Satanic Mass" album.

The proposed track listing of DOWNLORD's debut album, "Random Dictionary of the Damned", due out late November via Open Grave Records, is as follows (subject to change):

DOWNLORD's "Grind Trials" EP was released this past Tuesday worldwide via Open Grave Records. The EP is limited to 666 individually numbered copies, with over 100 signed copies randomly inserted. The EP is available only via Open Grave Recordsweb site for the appropriate price of $6.66, including shipping worldwide.

DOWNLORD is the Denmark-based death metal band featuring Ingram on vocals, Donovan Spenceley (ex-SACRIFICIAL, EXCESSIVE PAYBACK) on guitar, Rene Falther (ex-EXCESSIVE PAYBACK, INIQUITY) on guitar, Thomas Fagerlind (ex-INIQUITY, DAEMON) on bass, and Rasmus Schmidt on drums.
