In a recent interview with, SUPERJOINT RITUAL bassist and acclaimed solo artist Hank Williams III revealed that his solo band will hit the road with DOWN next year. Asked if SUPERJOINT RITUAL was over and done with, Hank replied, "As for now, I always say that SUPERJOINT is in the grave. It might come back; I don't know. But as far as what's going on with Philip [SUPERJOINT RITUAL/ex-PANTERA frontman Philip Anselmo], the new DOWN record is in the process of being made; us and DOWN are gonna tour next year — it could be two weeks, it could be two months; I don't know."

DOWN is the acclaimed New Orleans band featuring Anselmo, CROWBAR frontman Kirk Windstein, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan, drummer Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, SUPERJOINT RITUAL guitarist), and bassist Rex Brown (ex-PANTERA). The group's third album is tentatively expected in early 2007.

DOWN's sophomore album, "Down II", was released in March 2002 on Elektra Records. The band headlined the second stage at the 2002 Ozzfest.
