DOWN To Play Israel Next Month

According to Ynetnews, DOWN the acclaimed New Orleans band featuring CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan, drummer Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, SUPERJOINT RITUAL guitarist),bassist Rex Brown (ex-PANTERA),guitarist Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR),and vocalist Philip Anselmo (SUPERJOINT RITUAL, ex-PANTERA) will travel to Israel this July for a performance an the famed Tel Aviv Barby club.

Tickets for the July 29 gig are presently priced at NIS 160 ($48). Thursday afternoon will see the first 300 tickets sold on special sale at the Metal Shop in Tel Aviv.

Producer Lior Kamali, who brought such bands as PARADISE LOST, EVERGREY and BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB to Israel, is responsible for organizing the DOWN concert.

DOWN's video for the song "On March The Saints" can be viewed on YouTube. The track comes off the group's latest album, "Over the Under", which was released on September 25, 2007 through ILG/Warner Music Group (one day earlier internationally via Roadrunner Records). The LP was issued in Europe as a limited-edition digipack CD featuring the bonus track "Invest in Fear".
