DOWN: More European Tour Dates Announced

DOWN — the acclaimed New Orleans band featuring CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan, drummer Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, SUPERJOINT RITUAL guitarist),bassist Rex Brown (ex-PANTERA),guitarist Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR),and vocalist Philip Anselmo (SUPERJOINT RITUAL, ex-PANTERA) — have confirmed the following dates as part of their spring/summer European tour:

May 30 - Astoria - London, UK
Jun. 01 - Gods Of Metal - Milan, ITA
Jun. 02 - Rohstofflager - Zurich, SWI
Jun. 05 - Rockefeller - Oslo, NOR
Jun. 06 - Arenan - Stockholm, SWE
Jun. 07 - Vega - Copenhagen, DEN

Other acts scheduled to perform at the tenth edition of Gods Of Metal festival at Idroscalo in Milan, Italy include GUNS N' ROSES, KORN, ALICE IN CHAINS, VENOM, DIMMU BORGIR, OPETH, TESTAMENT, NEVERMORE and SATYRICON.

DOWN will begin work on new material shortly after returning home from their European tour and are tentatively planning on entering the studio in September to begin recording their third album.

DOWN's sophomore album, "Down II", was released in March 2002 on Elektra Records. The band headlined the second stage at the 2002 Ozzfest.
