DOWN: Brand New Photos Posted Online

Several brand-new photos of DOWN — the acclaimed New Orleans band featuring CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan, drummer Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, SUPERJOINT RITUAL guitarist),bassist Rex Brown (ex-PANTERA),guitarist Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR),and vocalist Philip Anselmo (SUPERJOINT RITUAL, ex-PANTERA) — taken as the group were making their way to Europe for their first-ever tour of the continent, have been posted online at Down-Nola.com.

As previously reported, DOWN have announced that they will be filming shows on their spring/summer European tour for an upcoming DVD. No further information is currently available.

Other acts scheduled to perform at the tenth edition of Gods Of Metal festival at Idroscalo in Milan, Italy include GUNS N' ROSES, KORN, ALICE IN CHAINS, VENOM, DIMMU BORGIR, OPETH, TESTAMENT, NEVERMORE and SATYRICON.

DOWN will begin work on new material shortly after returning home from their European tour and are tentatively planning on entering the studio in September to begin recording their third album.

DOWN's sophomore album, "Down II", was released in March 2002 on Elektra Records. The band headlined the second stage at the 2002 Ozzfest.
