Despite the fact that he has agreed to join the reunited WHITESNAKE for their upcoming tour, DIO guitarist Doug Aldrich claims that he has no intentions of leaving his current gig.

"I've been asked to join WHITESNAKE for their upcoming tour, and I hope I will be able to see some of [the fans] at the shows," Doug wrote on his official web site. "After the tour, I look forward to collaborating with Ronnie [James Dio] and [DIO bassist] Jimmy [Bain] on new music for the next DIO release."

DIO's follow-up to last year's "Killing The Dragon" is not expected to surface before late 2003/early 2004.
