DORO PESCH TO Guest On ABBA Tribute TV Show

October 24, 2005

The official web site of German female metal singer Doro Pesch (ex-WARLOCK) has been updated with the following message:

"There will be a ABBA tribute show in November on German TV (RTL). The show presents ABBA's best songs and Doro will be guest of the show, too. The show was recorded in September and Doro contributed her version of the ABBA song 'Gimme, Gimme, Gimme' for it. The producers liked the song so much that they asked our lady to be part of the show, too. She will present the song on stage with host Dirk Bach. There will also be a CD of the show but so far no fixed release date has been announced. There isn't any information on when 'ABBA Mania' will be show on TV either. But as soon as there are news, we’ll keep you posted, of course."

As previously reported, pn October 30, 2005, Pesch will be a featured guest on the German TV show "Hitgiganten – Rock Classics" (Sat. 1). She will talk about the most famous rock songs with host Hugo Egon Balder and some other guests. The show will be taped on October 25, 2005 at Studio G in Berlin-Adlershof and German promoter eventtixx.de has a very special offer for all the Doro fans: You can be part of the show and visit the studio to support the "Metal Queen" and the numerous live acts that will perform during the show.
