DORO PESCH Loses to Former Porn Star In German Version Of 'Celebrity Boxing'

October 27, 2002

Veteran metal vocalist Doro Pesch lost a three-round decision to former porn star Michaela Schaffrath (a.k.a. Gina Wild) in a "celebrity boxing" event televised last night (Oct. 26) on German station RTL's "Promi-Boxen 2002".

As previously reported, Doro was picked to fight Schaffrath as a last-minute replacement for '80s British pop star Samantha Fox, who injured her foot while training for this weekend's match.

Pesch, who first got into Thai boxing in 1995, recently had the unique opportunity of having the title cut of her latest CD, "Fight", used as an "entrance song" by German boxing champion Regina Halmich.
