DORO Joins Champion Racer For DTM Masters Season Opening; Video Available

April 28, 2009

German metal queen Doro Pesch has always been interested in cars and on April 19 she joined the DTM champion Timo Scheider to act as his co-driver at the season opening of the DTM Masters.

Doro comments: "I've always wanted to take a seat in a DTM car and now I'm more than happy that Timo Scheider took me on that ride in his Audi A4 DTM. Is was pure adrenaline! I really think that rock music and motorsports have a lot in common, not least decibel, power and energy!!!"

Check out video footage of Doro's Audi A4 DTM ride at Bild.de.

On Wednesday, April 29, Radio 4 Sound will broadcast a Doro special starting at 8:00 p.m. CET. There will be music from Doro's 25-year history, an extensive interview with the singer and the opportunity to win special fan packages.

You can listen to the show live via the Internet at www.radio4sound.com.
