DOPE Postpone Shows After Tour Bus Breaks Down

DOPE have been forced to postpone tonight's show in Columbus, OH and tomorrow's show in Fayetteville, NC due to "circumstances beyond their control." According to a posting on the group's official web site, "the band's tour bus, en route from North Carolina to pick them up, suffered from mechanical failures, leaving the band stranded at home in Chicago until a replacement bus can arrive on Saturday night. The next show-date on Sunday (Jan. 11) in West Springfield, VA will go on as scheduled. DOPE will be making up the Columbus, OH show on February 27 and the Fayettville, NC show on February 28 following their tour with MUSHROOMHEAD."

Singer Edsel Dope had this to say: "We've been busting our asses with [POWERMAN 5000's] Adrian to get geared up for this tour and we're more than ready, now this... Motherfucker!!! I'm going out tonite and getting shitfaced and you all should too. See you in the pit..."
