DOHENY Recording With ROB ZOMBIE Producer

June 15, 2004

DOHENY, the California-based band formed by ex-THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (on guitar) and former PITCHSHIFTER frontman Jon "J.S." Clayden, are in the process of recording a new demo track with producer Scott Humphrey (ROB ZOMBIE, POWERMAN 5000, TOMMY LEE) at an undisclosed location in the Hollywood Hills.

Commented Clayden: "I came up with the original idea for the song 'California' on acoustic guitar in England (jonesin' for my woman and some sunshine). Since then it's evolved into a great track featuring all of the DOHENY boys. It's an honor to be asked by someone as established as Scott to record at his own studio. He loved the tune and wanted to do it justice. I can't wait to hear the finished thing!"

DOHENY, who are currently unsigned, are rounded out by rhythm guitarist Sean Kipe, bassist Tony Freddo and drummer Colin LaRocque.
