DOHENY Guitarist On Search For Record Deal: 'It's A Nightmare Out There'

DOHENY guitarist Billy Morrison (ex-THE CULT bassist) has posted the following update on the group's current activities:

"DOHENY are taking a break from the rehearsal room to write some new tracks and to give our management some time to get this fucking [record] deal in place. It's a nightmare out there — no one is signing anything, and while we have had a lot of interest, trying to get someone to actually make a decision and put pen to paper is very, very hard. But we have irons in fires, and we know we have a great record ready to make, so we will keep doing what we do."

DOHENY is the California-based band featuring Morrison, former PITCHSHIFTER frontman Jon "J.S." Clayden, rhythm guitarist Sean Kipe and drummer Colin LaRocque. The band recently completed recording sessions with veteran producers Mike Clink (GUNS N' ROSES, METALLICA) and Scott Humphrey (ROB ZOMBIE, POWERMAN 5000, TOMMY LEE).
