DIVINE HERESY To Enter Studio In February

December 2, 2008

DIVINE HERESY, the Southern California-based metal band led by former FEAR FACTORY guitarist Dino Cazares, is hard at work on material for its much-anticipated sophomore CD, the group's first with new vocalist Travis Neal (THE BEREAVED, PUSHED). The band plans on hitting the studio on February 1, once again with acclaimed producing team Dirty Icon (Logan Mader and Lucas Banker),which has recently worked with CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, GOJIRA and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH. DIVINE HERESY will also co-produce the new effort.

After a year and a half of touring with the likes of ALL THAT REMAINS, STATIC-X, ARCH ENEMY, CHIMAIRA and SHADOWS FALL, DIVINE HERESY has proven that it is a stellar live act and is a force to be reckoned with.

Commented Cazares: "With Neal now having a few shows under his belt, his confidence is coming across through the new material. The songwriting process has been great and the ideas are constantly flowing. Collaborating with Tim Yeung [drums], Joe Payne [bass] and Neal, all together hashing out ideas in the practice space, has been very therapeutic and enjoyable. We all have a collective desire to take our performances to the next level with this release to undoubtedly prove that we are one of the most devastating bands in the scene today. Prepare to be annihilated and stay tuned to our MySpace page for studio reports and new video footage."
