DISSECTION: 'Rebirth Of Dissection' DVD Preview Available

June 28, 2006

Escapi Music has uploaded DISSECTION's video for the song "Where Dead Angels Lie" at this location (Quicktime required). The clip comes off the Swedish extreme metallers upcoming DVD, "Rebirth of Dissection", due in Europe on July 28 (August 1 in North America).

With DISSECTION mainman Jon Nödtveidt's release from an eight-year prison sentence on September 6, 2004, he recruited a completely new lineup. First to join the ranks was ex-DARK FUNERAL drummer Tomas Asklund, followed shortly by bass player Brice Leclerq (ex-NIGHTRAGE). After auditioning guitarists in the summer of 2004, ex-ABORYM member Set Teitan finally entered to complete the lineup.

Embarking on a vast European march of triumph, supported by Swedish black metallers WATAIN, DISSECTION's "Rebirth of Dissection European Tour 2004" turned out to be a huge success. This DVD includes lots of extras and bonus material recorded from this tour, and shows why the band are again at the top of the black metal genre.

DISSECTION released their long-awaited new album, "Reinkaos", last month on The End Records.

On Tuesday (June 27),DISSECTION's classic "The Somberlain" and "Storm of the Light's Bane" albums were reissued in the U.S. by The End Records. The remastered CDs come with multiple bonus tracks, previously unreleased material and new layouts.
