DISSECTION: Photos From Germany's WINTERNOISE FESTIVAL Posted Online

January 31, 2006

Reactivated Swedish death metallers DISSECTION performed their last-ever gig entirely based on songs from the band's early releases, dubbed "The Last Farewell to the Old Albums", on January 28 at the Winternoise Festival in Osnabrück, Germany. Check out pictures from the show at Dissection.nu.

As previously reported, DISSECTION are currently working on a DVD of their "already legendary" "Rebirth of Dissection" concert, which took place at Stockholm's Arenan on December 30, 2005. In addition to the live footage, the disc will contain a documentary about the "victorious path of DISSECTION!" More information will follow soon.

DISSECTION have set "Reinkaos" as the title of their long-awaited third album, tentatively due this spring via the band's own label, Black Horizon Music. Black Horizon Music will also re-release the bands back catalogue, including the classic albums "The Somberlain" and "Storm of the Light's Bane".

DISSECTION entered the studio in February 2005 to begin recording their long-awaited third album, the group's first release since "Storm of the Light's Bane". Rough-mix versions of two songs recorded during those sessions are available for download on their official web site. Check out the tracks "Xeper-I-Set" (mp3, lyrics) and "Starless Aeon" (mp3, lyrics).
