DISILLUSION Announce New Bassist

May 9, 2005

DISILLUSION, the prog-death band from Leipzig, Germany, have announced the addition of bassist Ralf Willis to the group's ranks. "Coming from Brooklyn, New York, Ralf decided to be part of DISILLUSION after he heard about the band and our vain search for bass player when he was in Germany some months ago," the band write on their web site. "We actually did only one rehearsal together and things were settled — Ralf moved to Leipzig and is with us since March. By now, he already knows all old songs."

Commented Willis: "Not being a person of many words, to put it simply, this shit can be finger-breaking AND sensitive in the same song. This is expressing what I want to express."

DISILLUSION's full-length debut, "Back to Times of Splendor", was released in April 2004 through Metal Blade Records.

"Back to Times of Splendor" was mixed at Tam Recording Studios in Zwickau, Germany and was mastered at Mastersound Studios in Fellbach, Germany with ATROCITY mainman Alex Krull.
