Ronnie James Dio recently spent time in the U.K. "kicking around ideas" with BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi for a couple of new tracks to be included on SABBATH's forthcoming box set, "Black Sabbath: The Dio Years". However, there are no plans for SABBATH and Dio to reunite for any further touring or recording activity.

DIO have just issued "Holy Diver Live", a live recording of the band's classic "Holy Diver" album in its entirety, from start to finish, recorded live in London in 2005. It also includes, among others, "Heaven & Hell", "Sign of the Southern Cross" and "Mob Rules" from Dio's SABBATH days, "Tarot Woman", "Man on the Silver Mountain" and "Long Live Rock 'N' Roll" from the RAINBOW era and "We Rock" from his solo career.

DIO's follow-up to 2004's "Master of the Moon" is expected in late 2006/early 2007.
