DIMMU BORGIR: 'Stormblåst' Reissue Details, Artwork Revealed

The updated, re-recorded version of DIMMU BORGIR's 1996 album, "Stormblåst" is scheduled for release on November 7 via Nuclear Blast Records. The album was completely re-recorded with producer Peter Tägtgren (HYPOCRISY, PAIN) and MAYHEM's Hellhammer on drums. Check out the album's new artwork at Rockdetector.com.

The new version of "Stormblåst" adds two brand-new audio tracks, "Sorgens Kammer – Del II" and "Abmaktslave", plus a live DVD of an entire set filmed from last year's Ozzfest comprising:

03. The Kings of the Carnival Creation
04. Progenies of the Great Apocalypse
05. Mourning Palace

DIMMU BORGIR are scheduled to begin writing material for their next studio album this fall for a tentative late 2006 release. The CD, which will feature a guest appearance by MAYHEM's Hellhammer on drums, will be "a full story/concept album," according to a posting on the group's web site.
