DIESEL MACHINE Bassist Releases New AMERICAN AFTERMATH Track

October 8, 2007

DIESEL MACHINE bassist Rich Gonzales, who nearly lost his life after broadsiding a car while riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle in August 2002, has issued the following update:

"My other band AMERICAN AFTERMATH just posted a sick new song on MySpace. It's called 'Scars and Stripes', about Iraqi war soldiers returning to regular life and seeing things different. It fucking kicks ass! I recorded it in my studio, and Pat Lachman [DIESEL MACHINE guitarist, former DAMAGEPLAN vocalist and ex-HALFORD guitarist] mixed it. Sounds pretty sick. Check it out at this location."

Gonzales recently unveiled his newest creation — a "wheelchair chopper," a one-of-a-kind bike designed and built by Rich for Rich. The bike was on display at the Abilities Expo at the Long Beach Convention Center in California in June 2007 and can be seen at www.myspace.com/str8shotx.

DIESEL MACHINE is currently putting the finishing touches on its new album, featuring the all-original lineup: A.J. Cavalier (SOIL) on vocals, Pat on guitar, Shane Gaalaas (MSG, B'Z) on drums, and Rich on bass. A 2008 release is expected.

DIESEL MACHINE's last album, "Torture Test", came out in 2000 via SPV Records. More information is available at this location.
