DIECAST Track Featured In A National Volkswagen Commercial Spot

The new DIECAST track "Rise and Oppose" is currently featured in a national Volkswagen commercial. To view the commercial, click here.

The group recently shot a video for the track with acclaimed director Kevin Leonard (HIMSA, TERROR, WALLS OF JERICHO); look for it to make its Fuse and MTV2 debut late this month.

DIECAST recently completed an extensive European tour alongside AGNOSTIC FRONT in support of "Tearing Down Your Blue Skies", their highly acclaimed new album. Jeremy Wooden (bass) checks in with the following tour report: "We had the most amazing time in Europe and are currently back home relaxing. Once again we would like to thank AGNOSTIC FRONT and everyone in their crew for being so good to us and treating us like family. It was an honor to be on tour with such great bands and great people. The shows in Europe were all packed and AGNOSTIC FRONT is nearly as big as David Hasselhoff (although David is the only one cool enough to wear Christmas Tree lights on his jacket). We can't wait to tour with AGNOSTIC FRONT and DBD again. Don't miss them on tour together this spring in the U.S.

"As for DIECAST, we will be returning to Europe from May 28th - July 17th to tour with the mighty NAPALM DEATH and MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD. We will be playing a bunch of festivals as well as off-dates in between. Look for a full U.S. tour in late summer or early fall and we will do everything we can to make sure we play in some of the areas that we missed on our tours with HATEBREED earlier this year. We have a new video for 'Rise and Oppose' so be on the lookout for that on MTV2 later this month. It's nothing like any of the videos you usually see for heavier bands these days. We went for more of a DAVID LEE ROTH meets old-school BEASTIE BOYS vibe for this one. We will see everyone soon and thanks to all our fans and everyone who has signed up for the DIECAST army."
