DIECAST Prepares To Hit The Road With SEVENDUST

December 19, 2006

DIECAST will kick off 2007 with a monstrous 10-week U.S. tour alongside SEVENDUST and BLOODSIMPLE, which kicks off Feb. 7. Look for tour dates to be announced early next year. They will also join SEVENDUST and REVELATION THEORY for a special 98 Rock-sponsored New Year's Eve show in Tampa, FL.

This week, the group wraps up a five-week run with SEPULTURA, SWORN ENEMY and SUICIDE SILENCE. This was their first national tour in support of their new album, "Internal Revolution", which is being hailed as their most dynamic and stunning offering yet from critics and fans alike.

Paul Stoddard (vocals) checks in with the following report: "It's been so much fun and such an honor to tour with a band that I’ve loved since I was a kid. SEPULTURA are some of the nicest guys, and they really bring it to the stage. They also talk a great game about their Brazilian football (soccer),but there are a couple of athletes on the DIECAST team that are ready to pull out a ball to see exactly what SEPULTURA is truly made of. Even if they wipe us up and down the field, it would still be a lot of fun. We also got a chance to hang out with our old friends in SWORN ENEMY, and make new friends with our boys in SUICIDE SILENCE. The response and turnout from fans has been phenomenal. Every show, we find people singing along to songs from the new album, and we can't thank you guys enough for supporting us. If you haven't had a chance to see us yet, we'll be coming your way soon with SEVENDUST. Thanks again to everyone, and have a very metal and safe Xmas."

A riveting conceptual video for the track "Fade Away", shot by acclaimed director David Brodsky (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, GWAR, THE RED CHORD),can now be viewed at this location.
