Reunited NWOBHM legends DIAMOND HEAD have completed work on their first full album of new songs since 1993's "Death & Progress" and are currently looking to secure the right deal to ensure that the album is given the best marketing, promotion and distribution possible.

The as-yet-untitled CD — which was recorded at recorded at Mad Hat Studios in Wolverhampton, England with producer/engineer producer Andrew Scarth — is being described by vocalist Sean Harris as "the best time we have had in the studio since the first album, great songs all of equal quality, lots of love and attitude."

The complete track listing for the LP is as follows (in no particular order):

01. Shine On Me
02. Forever 16
03. Deep
04. Voodoo Sky
05. The Ferryman
06. Music Box
07. Real Woman
08. It's Alright
09. Silverdaze
10. Tumblenite
11. Medusa's Gaze
12. Heart Of Stone

In other news, DIAMOND HEAD have announced that they will NOT be appearing at Germany's Wacken Festival this summer despite previous reports to the contrary. "Discussions were made with the band [for them to appear at Wacken], but nothing was confirmed," reads the group's official newsletter. "Unfortunately, the Wacken web site chose to advertise the band's appearance in advance of any confirmation. This has not changed and their web site continues to be misleading."
