DEVILDRIVER To Support OPETH In March

January 12, 2006

DEVILDRIVER frontman Dez Fafara has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"Here's whats new and in the works..... Roadrunner Records received the NEW DEVILDRIVER video yesterday. We are all excited to have you all see it. I will let you know when it is going to be put up on our site, as well as the first airing dates on the video channels.

"We are going out with IN FLAMES soon. Hope to see everyone out at the shows. Remember we are second band up on a four-band bill, so don't arrive late if you want to see DEVILDRIVER.

"After IN FLAMES, we go out with our friends OPETH for 15 or 20 shows. DEVILDRIVER will be main support. Please check the site to find dates. We will post them as we get them.

"Many other exciting things in the works and I will keep you up to date as information comes in. Thank you to all who supported DEVILDRIVER last year. We are looking forward to a healthy dose of touring this year, and want to see all of you at the shows."

DEVILDRIVER are touring in support of their sophomore album, "The Fury of Our Maker's Hand", which entered Billboard's Heatseeker's chart at No. 1. It also debuted at No. 117 on Billboard's Top 200 album charts and No. 17 on the Top Hard Rock chart. Additionally the album soared to No. 1 on the Metal/College Radio and Specialty charts.

DEVILDRIVER formed in 2002 after the demise of frontman Dez Fafara's former project, COAL CHAMBER. In 2003 they released their self-titled, debut album and participated in the 2004 Ozzfest tour.
