DEVILDRIVER To Enter Studio Next Month

October 27, 2006

DEVILDRIVER frontman Dez Fafara (ex-COAL CHAMBER) has issued the following update:

"Fuck yea!!! Here's what's happening: We've been writing and have more than enough material to go in the studio. The band is going to Mike's [Spreitzer, guitar] today to lay the last song down on his computer so I can begin my writing on it. Stay tuned for an anouncement of who we are using to produce the next record.

"We enter the studio, Sonic Ranch, in El Paso Texas on November 13th and will be tracking by the 14th. We will work up 'till Christmas, then come home. The music will be recorded in Texas, and I will be doing vocals here in our hometown of Santa Barbara on about January 7th or 8th. The mix will begin in February and March. We would like to see a summer release, around June-July 2007. We would like to be back on the road in late February or early March.

"Hope to see all of you back on the road soon. As always, thank you for your support."

As previously reported, a seven-minute audio interview with Dez Fafara, conducted recently by Andrew Haug of Triple J's "Full Metal Racket" (based in Australia),can be downloaded at this location (3 MB).

Roadrunner Records will release a "special edition" of DEVILDRIVER's "The Fury Of Our Maker's Hand" CD on October 31. More information is available at this location.
