DETENTE: Demo Version Of 'Widow's Walk' Available For Download

December 18, 2006

The original demo version of the DETENTE song "Widow's Walk" has been remastered and is available for free download at www.myspace.com/detenterna.

DETENTE's clasic album "Recognize No Authority" was recently remastered with Brad Vance at Redmastering. Brad previously remastered albums by FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, FATES WARNING, and ARMORED SAINT, and has also worked with CANNIBAL CORPSE. According to a press release, "The remaster kicks ass! Brad was careful to maintain a balance between making the album sound crisp while keeping the raw elements that make it a classic. You won't be disappointed!"

"Recognize No Authority" was reissued in the USA and Germany by Cognitive Records. The CD is being distributed in the USA by The End Records and in Germany by Hellion Records.

"Recognize No Authority" was a critically acclaimed recording that maintains a cult following to this day. It was also the launching ground for nu-metal metal producer Ross Robinson (KORN, SLIPKNOT, FEAR FACTORY, SOULFLY) who plays guitar on the album. The CD also marked the first full-length release by FEAR OF GOD's Dawn Crosby, who sadly passed away on December 15, 1996.
