DESTRUCTION Frontman: ANNIHILATOR's WATERS Let Us Down

September 5, 2005

The tentative dates have been released for the upcoming European tour featuring German thrashers DESTRUCTION, Swedish doom legends CANDLEMASS and Finnish deathrashers DEATHCHAIN.

Commented DESTRUCTION bassist/vocalist Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer, "After Mr. Waters [Jeff Waters of ANNIHILATOR, DESTRUCTION's original choice of touring mates] let us down, we have managed to bring the great CANDLEMASS with us on our European tour! Also the two support bands and the dates will [be announced] these days!

"I know some thrashers may think the doom metal legend doesn't really fit with a thrash band. Bullshit! We have had the pleasure [to tour with CANDLEMASS] in the Eighties already and it was a great package. Those who had the pleasure [to see the show] back then can surely confirm this, I think!

"We are lookin' forward to meet you all on the road again..."
