DESTRUCTION Confirmed For Germany's THE MOSH CLUB OPEN AIR Festival

August 21, 2002

German thrashers DESTRUCTION will perform at The Mosh Club Open Air — a free-entry charity event against racism — in Kolmberg, Germany on August 24th. Other acts set to appear at the event include BLOOD RED ANGEL, BANGGANG, and ENCYCLIA.

In other news, DESTRUCTION have once again slammed the promoter of the Italian Agglutination Metal Festival — which took place in Chiaromonte on August 12th — for treating the band in an "unprofessional" manner and spreading "insulting rumors" about the group following the band's appearance at the event, which also included sets by VICIOUS RUMORS, DRAKKAR, STORMLORD, UNDERTAKERS, HEIMDALL, and HOLY KNIGHTS, among others.

"Because of the aggressive and unprofessional menace out of the Chiaromonte surroundings, DESTRUCTION will advise other bands and friends out of the scene to not work with this promoter anymore!" states a message on the band's official web site. "[The one] who's telling lies about the band deserves to get ignored! Basta! Anybody who tells lies on this side will get erased! All these insulting rumors that came out of the surroundings of the festival, pursue only the intention of the promoter to save his fuckin' ass! Sorry, but this won't fuckin' help! The fact is that the contract was broken. Why should All Access (booking agent from Germany) do arrangements if nobody cares? It was just bad a organization — that's it! Hopefully now they will learn...life goes on! Despite all this happenings, our Italian fans have always been real fuckin' GREAT!!! It is just really sad that this CHAOS is settled on the back of the fans, cause they paid money to see a good show!"
