DESTROYER 666 To Tour Australia For First Time In Three Years

October 16, 2003

Australia's DESTROYER 666, who are currently based in Holland, will be returning to Australian shores in December/January for their first national tour in three years.

The band's "The Wolves Return" tour will see the band appearing at the Metal For The Brain Festival in December before performing in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth for the first time.

DESTROYER 666's three-year stint overseas included a performance at the highly prestigious Wacken Festival (Germany),plus countless European tours, performing with the likes of MOTÖRHEAD, KREATOR, HYPOCRISY, IMMORTAL, IMMOLATION, BEHEMOTH, CARPATHIAN FOREST and numerous others.

After two well-received albums ("Phoenix Rising" and "Cold Steel...For An Iron Age") on large French independent Season of Mist, and also a recent limited MCD/MLP ["Terror Abraxas"] through German label Iron Pegasus Records, DESTROYER 666 are finally returning home to bring their epic-tinged thrash attack to the long-starved DESTROYER fans in their country of origin. However, this wont be a permanent stay for the group, who are set to return to Europe not long after their Australian shows. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.

DESTROYER 666 live:

Jan. 10 – Brisbane, AUS @ The Indie Temple (w/ ASTRIAAL)
