DESPISED ICON Planning Another U.S. Run In August

Montreal metallers DESPISED ICON are currently on the road with THE RED CHORD, ALL SHALL PARISH, SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY and THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD. The group has checked in with the following update:

"This tour has been going amazing. It's so much fun hanging out our friends and meeting new ones every night. We just got dates in for our next U.S. run that starts in August. Can't say who it's with yet, but just keep checking back here for details. We're going to be hitting cities that we missed this time around...and to our Canadian fans, don't worry, a pretty big Canadian run is currently being mapped out for November.

"Some of you saw our video for 'The Arms of Perdition' hit MTV last week. It's going to be on MuchLoud tomorrow night for our Canadian fans...

"Speaking of videos, we're working on the storyline for our second video as I type, it should be killer."

DESPISED ICON is currently touring in support of its new album, "The Ills of Modern Man". The disc was recorded with acclaimed producer/former guitarist Yannick St-Amand (BENEATH THE MASSACRE, ION DISSONANCE, NEURAXIS) and mixed by the renowned Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, MEGADETH).

DESPISED ICON's undying work ethic throughout 2006 earned them a rabid and loyal underground following through high-profile tours alongside such esteemed acts as HATEBREED, BEHEMOTH, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, NAPALM DEATH, EXODUS, MORBID ANGEL, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD and KRISIUN.
