DESPISED ICON: New Audio Interview With ALEX ERIAN Available

September 25, 2009

On September 23, Slavewriter6 conducted an interview with vocalist Alex Erian of Montreal extreme metallers DESPISED ICON. The chat is now available for streaming at this location.

"Day Of Mourning", the new video from DESPISED ICON, can be viewed below. The song is the title cut of DESPISED ICON's new album, which was released on September 22 via Century Media Records. The CD was produced by Yannick St-Amand, while the mixing duties were handled by Chris "Zeuss" Harris (HATEBREED, THE ACACIA STRAIN, WHITECHAPEL) in Massachusetts. The whole thing was mastered by Alan Douches (MASTODON, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, NILE).

DESPISED ICON earlier in the year released a DVD entitled "Montreal Assault Live". The disc features a "stellar" multi-camera shoot from the band's sold-out hometown show, alongside a new hour-long documentary and all of the band's promotional video clips.
