DENIAL FIEND Confirmed For CENTRAL ILLINOIS METALFEST

DENIAL FIEND, the Tampa, Florida-based band featuring in its ranks Terry Butler (SIX FEET UNDER, ex-MASSACRE, ex-DEATH),Kam Lee (ex-MASSACRE, ex-MANTAS),Curt Beeson (NASTY SAVAGE, LOWBROW) and Sam Williams (DOWN BY LAW, PSEUDO HEROES),has been confirmed for next year's Central Illinois Metalfest, set to take place July 18-20 at the Canopy Club in Urbana, Illinois. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

DENIAL FIEND released its debut album, "They Rise", in October via Ibex Moon Records. The CD, which was recorded at GL Studios in Brandon, Florida, retails with a bonus DVD called "Undead Vision", which is a short documentary/interview disc covering the history of the band members and the Tampa death metal scene, as well as offering more information on the origins of DENIAL FIEND.

DENIAL FIEND's "Dead Awakening" 7" EP was released on May 21 through Ibex Moon Records. The EP consists of two alternate versions of the tracks "They Rise" and "Cover Me in Blood", which appear on the band's full-length. The pressing is limited to a mere 500 copies.
