DEFTONES Finalize Track Listing For New Album

April 8, 2003

DEFTONES have finalized the track listing for their forthcoming self-titled album, due on May 20 through Maverick Records. It is as follows:

01. Hexagram
02. Needles And Pins
03. Minerva
04. Good Morning Beautiful
05. Deathblow
06. When Girls Telephone Boys
07. Battle Axe
08. Lucky You
09. Bloody Cape
10. Anniversary Of An Uninteresting Event
11. Moana

The long-awaited follow-up to 2000's "White Pony" was produced by longtime DEFTONES collaborator Terry Date (LIMP BIZKIT, PANTERA) and was recorded primarily in the band's own studio in their hometown of Sacramento.

DEFTONES, who have just completed work on the video for the album's first single, "Minerva", with director Paul Fedor in the California desert just north of the Mexican border, will embark on a "guerilla-style" club tour in May to support the upcoming album. The band will then head out on the massive Summer Sanitarium tour with METALLICA, LINKIN PARK, LIMP BIZKIT and MUDVAYNE beginning in early July. The trek concludes on Aug. 9 in Los Angeles.
