DEFILED Announces New Drummer, Prepares For Australian Tour

Japanese death metallers DEFILED have announced the addition of drummer Takashi Nonaka to the group's ranks. A tour of Australia is also scheduled for late June/early July. The dates are as follows:

June 27 - Hobart,Tasnania @ The Trout Bar
June 29 - Melbourne, Victoria @ The Tote
June 30 - Adelaide, South Australia @ The Lizard Lounge Complex
July 05 - Canberra, Australian Capital Territory @ ANU
July 06 - Sydney, New South Wales @ The Arncliffe Hotel
July 07 - Brisbane, Queensland @ Club Pheonix

DEFILED's fourth album, "Divination", was released in May 2003 via Season of Mist.

DEFILED plays "progressive death metal with guttural vocals, hysteric guitars, insane bass and hyper-blasting drums, with a lots of tempo changes. Their style is very unique, twisted and technical," according to an official press release.

"Divination" was mixed by Jim Morris (ICED EARTH, DEATH, JAG PANZER) at Morrisound studio in Tampa, Florida.
