January 8, 2002

DEF LEPPARD have set X (as in the Roman numeral for 10) as the title for their upcoming tenth studio album, which is currently being recorded in various studios in Los Angeles, Dublin and Sweden for a late spring release. For the first time in the band's history, DEF LEPPARD are collaborating with more than one producer on a single album (compilations Retro Active and Vault not included),with the follow-up to 1999's Euphoria set to include tracks produced by Pete Woodruffe, Marti Frederiksen (i.e. AEROSMITH),Andreas Carlsson (N SYNC, BACKSTREET BOYS) and Per Aldeheim (ex-IT'S ALIVE guitarist and producer for ABSTRAKT ALGEBRA and LAMBRETTA, among others). A summer tour will likely follow the album's release.
