DEF LEPPARD Re-Launch 'Guest Singer' Auction

January 30, 2003

Due to unspecified "technical and logistical problems beyond [the band's] control" with the first auction, DEF LEPPARD have been forced to re-list their auction offering one lucky fan a chance to join the band on stage at an upcoming show.

Once again, the details are as follows:

"So you always dreamt of being on stage with DEF LEPPARD and perform[ing] 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' with them? Well, your dream may come true: DefLeppard.com and Help A Hallam Child now give you the chance to bid on that once-in-a-lifetime experience!

"On February 20th, DEF LEPPARD is returning to their home city Sheffield for a show at the HallamFM Arena, and the winner of this auction will attend the band's soundcheck, then join them on stage, and then scream into the microphone while DEF LEPPARD is actually backing you up, playing one of their biggest hits! Yes, for a moment, you could be their lead singer! Of course, you (and a friend) will also be invited to attend the band's show later that night. All proceeds of the auction will go to Help A Hallam Child, helping sick and needy children from South Yorkshire and the North Midlands."
