DEF LEPPARD Push Back Single Release, Announce U.S. Dates

February 9, 2003

DEF LEPPARD have once again pushed back the release date of their new single "Long Long Way To Go". According to the band's official web site, "This time, the main reason for the delay is the (absence of a) promo video. According to the original schedule, the band was supposed to shoot the video this week in London (Joe) and Spain (rest of the band). However, the shoot has been moved to London for the entire band and is now scheduled to take place on February 18. A new date for the single release has not been determined yet, although the US division of the record label has finally decided not to release the single in North America at all — neither for radio, nor commercially." In other news, DEF LEPPARD and MagicAM raised £5,007 (more than $8,000),to be donated to the Help A Hallam Child organization (helping sick and needy children from South Yorkshire and the North Midlands) by auctioning off a chance for a lucky fan to perform "Pour Some Sugar On Me" with the band during the soundcheck at the Hallam FM Arena in the group's hometown of Sheffield, England, on Feb. 20.
